With no everyday annoyances and just time alone with God, with the ever present whisper of the waves as background music - I am able to get closer to myself and God than at any other time. My room facing the ocean was delightful and peaceful.

We found out about the Sea Vista via your website. The online ad didn't do the place justice - we were very impressed with the room, the amenities, and the gorgeous view. We felt like we'd rented the entire Atlantic Ocean for a week!
We enjoyed the laid-back tempo of the island, the incredible seafood, and had a wonderful time shopping for nautical novelties to take back with us to our home in Raleigh. Our favorite memento, however, will be the memory of the day we watched three families of dolphins playing right outside our bedroom window.

We spent the last few days of our honeymoon here and it was wonderful. This is our second stay here and we will be back. View and weather were both great. The beach is so clean and the staff at the hotel are great.

We got here on Monday and we are going to stay until next Friday. We have stayed here once before, but this is the first time staying in this room. It was very clean, had a great view especially at night with the full moon, it was beautiful. The staff were very helpful and kind. The room was great, very well equipped, we had everything we needed and more. We will probably be back next year, it was so wonderful. Also the weather has been great and turned out to be a great vacation spot.

This was our second year of staying here at the Sea Vista. The room is beautiful and this is truly a special place. Everyone I have come across has been so friendly and has treated my children very well, not something that you come across every day. We have had a wonderful time here this year and already making plans to be back! We hope that whoever stays here in the future has a blessed time here, the ocean is a wonderful place to enjoy the wonder of God's creation! Thanks, everyone has been so friendly to us.

May 29th, our 21st wedding anniversary.
Celebrated our 20th last year by coming back here, the scene of our first getaway before we were engaged.
Great weekend! After 3 kids and 21 years, it's good to reconnect once a year (or so we decided last year!)

11PM, 57degrees. Clouds mute a bright moon. A wonderful and peaceful couple of days in front of the Thanksgiving holiday...
Fog horn keeps watch in the distance. My friend is asleep with a bad cold. An extra special thank you for the extra blankets. We slept with no heat and the door cracked to hear the waves all night, both nights. Dreams are better that way.
This place is a dream.
